Sr. Manager, High Power Business Development

Molex has an exciting opportunity for a SR Manager High Power Business Development to join our High-Power team. The SRManager High Power Business Development manages multiple Global Product Managers to develop and implement the strategic direction for assigned High Power product lines in support of divisional goals. This role acts as a focal point for market knowledge, profitability, forecasts, commercialization and planning of High-Power products. The SR Manager High Power Business Development makes priority decisions between/among product lines in all aspects of the Product Management function. What You Will Do In Your Role


  • Provide leadership for a team of direct and indirect team members to support customer requirements from Taiwan ODM customers.
  • Develops and implements strategic product and annual business plans targeting markets, industries, and customers. Identifies product line trends and technologies. Leads long range product planning and sets priorities among/between lines.
  • Increases sales and market share of assigned product lines in support of Divisional objectives. Tracks progress to plan for revenue, profit, and backlog.
  • Improves profit and return on investment of assigned product lines. Establishes the priority for cost reduction, capacity planning and quality improvement projects.
  • Embraces the role of the supervisor as this role will have direct supervisory responsibility for marketing professionals and their support staff. Supervisory duties include but not limited to: plans for necessary training, schedules workload, evaluates employee performance, participates in interviewing and recruitment activities, and will recommend or provide input on promotions, salary changes, disciplinary action, etc.
  • Understand, support, and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years product marketing experience in connector industry
  • 5+ years product marketing experience in electro-mechanical device industry
  • Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written

What Will Put You Ahead Preferred:


  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Direct customer interaction in the Taiwan market
  • Experience with High-Power products including connectors and busbars
