Your JobPSBU is seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer to help develop and extend the next generation of High Power connectors and solutions targeted at the ODM market in Taiwan. This role will help develop relationships in the High Power space with our front end team.

Primary portfolio will be Power Solutions under Consumer and Commercial
What You Will Do

• Full design cycle responsibility including concept generations, detailed engineering models, drawings, design reviews, DFMEA...
• Coordinate and lead engineering efforts to ensure projects meet customer and manufacturing requirements
• Interface with customers, sales and marketing to develop high level concepts
• Work with cross functional internal teams for quoting, DFM, project planning and execution

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field with 3+ years of related experience
• Proficient in solid modeling to generate 3D models & 2D drawings
• Demonstrated ability to analyze information and solve problems with sound solutions
• Good presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Experience in High Power electronics environment is essential
• Travel is primarily local during the business day, although international travel is expected when required for manufacturing or customer interaction.

What Will Put You Ahead

• NX CAD experience
• Strong and diverse technical skills
• Molding, stamping, plating experience
• Experience with ODM Power customers in Taiwan
• Experience working with IT/Telecom and Datacenter customers
• With FEA experience including thermal modeling will be a big plus
• Ability to develop and meet project schedules, along with contingency plans
• Demonstrated ability to identify and develop future needs
