Taiwan Sales Specialist

Your Team Responsibilities
We are looking for a sales specialist to join our Taiwan Coverage team. The Taiwan Coverage team is part of the Greater China Coverage team responsible for maintaining existing client relationships as well as new business development for MSCI products and services. This role is a highly visible one, with involvement in all aspects of an account including senior level relationship management, product presentations, contract negotiation, sales closing, product setup and delivery The team is expected to work very closely with global sales, global client service, marketing, research and product management as a lead coordinator for client engagements. This includes educating, positioning, and licensing MSCI’s products and solutions to clients in Taiwan.Your Key Responsibilities
- Achieve forecasted revenue, renewal, and profitability targets
- Nurture existing client relationships and prospect aggressively to establish new ones
- Answer detailed client inquiries about MSCI products and methodologies
- Work with global departments (Client Service, Legal, Contracts, Billing, Marketing, Product Management & Operations etc) to ensure that all client requests / enquiries are managed appropriately
- Support team leader on strategic initiatives including market analysis, competitor research, prospect research
- Disciplined sales process management, including pipeline and campaign monitoring
- Collaborate with other sales groups to achieve cross-segment opportunities and synergies
- Ability to think laterally and structure/position MSCI solutions covering other product lines including Index, Analytics, ESG/Climate, Private Assets
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
- Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience; MBA, Master’s Degree and/or CFA charter holder strongly desired
- Relevant experience in the financial service industry
- Superior communication and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple detail-oriented projects
- Sales or client service experience
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Ability to communicate effectively across the organization globally with colleagues across different functions
- Strong sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
- Understanding of / experience dealing with major institutional investors e.g. Asset Managers, Bank and Wealth Managers, Broker / Dealers, and Hedge Funds, Understanding of the Investment Management Process and global equity markets
- Experience with Sales Force is preferable but not required
