Accounting and Payroll Executive - Remote

About Us: Worknetics Global is a growing organization dedicated to providing innovative solutions in the EOR industry. As a key part of our operations, we are focused on maintaining strong financial and payroll management practices. We are currently looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting and Payroll Specialist to join our remote team in Bangkok, Thailand.
Position Overview: We are seeking an Accounting and Payroll Specialist to manage and oversee all aspects of accounting operations, payroll processing, and financial compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both accounting and payroll, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounting Operations:
  • Handle full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports, statements, and balance sheets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
  • Payroll Management:
  • Administer and process payroll for all employees in compliance with local laws and company policies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll disbursement, including tax withholdings, deductions, and employee benefits.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure the accuracy of timekeeping systems.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll-related inquiries.
  • Stay updated on changes to tax laws and payroll regulations in Thailand and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Tax Compliance and Reporting:
  • Manage tax filings, VAT, and other statutory requirements in accordance with local regulations.
  • Coordinate with tax authorities and external auditors as required.
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of corporate taxes and employee tax obligations.
  • Prepare and submit payroll tax reports and other regulatory filings as needed.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Review and improve accounting and payroll processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement best practices in payroll management and accounting operations.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth financial operations and resolve any discrepancies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in accounting and payroll, preferably in a remote work environment.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and tax regulations in Thailand.
  • Proficiency with accounting and payroll software (e.g., Quick Books, Xero, SAP, or other similar tools).
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely with international teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with multi-country payroll or international accounting is a plus.
  • Certification in accounting or payroll management is a plus (e.g., CPA, CPP).
