Main Purpose of the Role
Responsible for sales of orthodontics products in Thailand. Develop and implement sales strategies, grow the business profitably leveraging on relationship with existing and new customers, gain market share in non-premium segment and digital segment. Manage sales team to reach sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively establish and reinforce sales team, translate the overall sales strategy for the division into strategies and plans for the sales team in order to drive sales and meet or exceed targets.
- Manage sales team, determine optimal sales organization structure, set targets, coach, support and monitor activities of sales team. Hire and replace talent as needed to achieve sales targets.
- Provide an annual sales plan in addition to quarterly updates, revisions and modifications for the plan. Establish annual and monthly sales objectives in coordination with the sales plan.
- Manage and attain budget objectives.
- Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to maximize strategic progress and reach sales targets
- Motivate, manage and develop sales team to ensure the achievement of pre-determined targets for the division
- Work closely with marketing team to support the sales strategies. Participate in the development of marketing plans and activities. Monitor competitor activities to capture market shares as well as driving access. Maintain current knowledge of competitive business strategies and product pipeline and incorporating them into sales plan and strategies.
- Keep abreast of latest trends in sales effectiveness and adopt new approaches as required in order to expand customer base and increase revenue.
- Drive new business development initiatives that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy and support of the deal process (e.g. sourcing, due diligence, negotiating and contracting).
- Special tasks or project as assigned by supervisor.
Qualification
- Master or Bachelor’s degree of Medical Device/ Scientific fields
- Minimum 8 - 10 years’ sales experience in dental, medical device .Preferable 3-5 years national level of sales team leading experience, and advertising/ Media/financial market experience (Depending on industry).
- Proven record of leading sales teams and/or business development.
- Strong leadership skills, innovative and pro-active.
- Self-starter, result driven and customer oriented with accountability
- Have deep understanding in the products, a holistic understanding of related fields. Dental or medical device product background are preferred.
- High level of independency, excellent communication and negotiation skills, team spirit and has ability to motivate, inspire and manage sales staff.
