The overall purpose of the job is to overview and monitor activities of mishandled baggage.
Main Duties:

Responsible for assisting in reducing mishandling of baggage under Thai Air Asia X and providing fast recovery of mishandled baggage for XJ flights. Liaise with conveyor/ramp staff for any shortfalls and raise Passenger Irregularity Reports (PIR) for any mishandled baggage.

Create a baggage-on-hand record for unclaimed/surplus baggage, and ensure copies of all PIRs are sent to the Security Department for investigation. Conduct primary and secondary tracing on mishandled baggage cases and update baggage status to passengers every 72 hours.

Assist the station in tracing mishandled baggage and responding to emails or telephone inquiries. Investigate and determine the reasons for baggage mishandling in registered baggage files and coordinate with other departments and stations regarding mishandled baggage to identify possible fraudulent claims.

Ensure NTL baggage is sent back on the same flight as NTL upon advice from the check-in station. Dispose of unclaimed bags not collected after 2 months through staff auction or charitable organizations.

Authorization of discharge voucher payments can only be issued by authorized personnel. Proper documentation for the payment process, including a copy of the passenger’s I/C or passport, PIR, and other relevant documents, must be sent to the Finance Department. All records and PNR must be updated when payment is made, including incidental expenses and compensation.

Ensure that baggage or items restored to passengers include an Acceptance Acknowledgement Form, completed and signed by the recipient, along with relevant documents. Handle found property on Thai Air Asia X premises.

Responsible for ensuring Guest Services operations comply with applicable regulations and standards set by the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand and Thai Air Asia X. Ensure the necessary facilities, workspace, equipment, and supporting services are in place to meet Guest Services operational safety requirements.
Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in any field, along with a minimum of 5 years of related experience working in an airport.

Able to communicate in oral and written languages of Thai and English and additional language is an advantage.

Ability to maintain high confidentiality, tactful and discretion when dealing with people.

Possess good management and leadership abilities.
-
Possess good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with passenger.

Able to work on flexible hours and computer literacy.
-
Service mind, good interpersonal skill and human relations

Can work at Don Mueang International Airport
