BTS is looking to hire Financial Manager to be based out of Bangkok, Thailand.
The Financial Manager will be reporting to BTS, APAC Head of Finance.
The role of the financial manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the consulting company, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, managing accounting functions, and implementing financial policies. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial information, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the implementation of efficient financial processes tailored to the unique needs of a consulting firm.

About the role:
1. Accounting and Financial Reporting:

• Oversee internal controls for financial reporting, including planning, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with Thailand Reporting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of the Profit & Loss statement and other financial reports to stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with contractual obligations, reporting requirements, and statutory regulations.
• Manage the client billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and other relevant parties as needed.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide insights to management team.
• Assist in long-term financial planning and strategy development.
• Present management reports and insights to management team.

3. Team Leadership:

• Lead and motivate the team to achieve shared vision, goals and objectives.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Demonstrate integrity, humility, and responsibility, with strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships across business units.

4. Additional Responsibilities:

• Review contracts to ensure compliance with approved proposals and company policies.
• Engage with clients, vendors, and external parties to negotiate terms, address concerns, and finalize agreements.
• Undertake any ad hoc duties assigned by your manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 4 years in a managerial role, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of Thailand FRS or IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.

Requirements:

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable to work and perform in multi-tasking and fast pace industry
• Relevant working experience in the consulting industry
• Well-developed communication skills to interact with broad ranges of audiences
• Fluency in spoken and written in Thai and English is a must
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment in Asia
