We are looking for a Financial Controller based in Bangkok office to support our accounting and finance operations in Thailand as well as reinforce the distributors’ businesses in SEA countries: such as Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore and Taiwan.
In FOSS we value collaboration and you will work closely with Sales and Service teams in Bangkok office.
Who are we looking for?
The profile we are looking for comes with solid financial experience, either as a financial controller or from a similar role. A higher education in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is expected, along with relevant field training. Familiarity with working across different countries or international teams will be an advantage. We value personality and, in this role, you will need to foster a “Winning Team” culture, working closely with your team and cross function with sales and service to support the business growth. Strong English skills (reading and speaking) are required, as this is our business language.
The job
In this role, you will manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition. You will ensure Business Compliance, Governance and Internal Control is adhered for Thailand.
In addition to this, you will:

• Manage month-end closing procedures, reviewing revenues, expenses, and variances.
• Coordinate, direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Manage Aging reports and analysis.
• Payroll management and some HR / IT tasks.

Qualifications
We are looking for a profile with a proven understanding of budget development and management, reporting, and strategic financial analysis. You operate with a ‘can-do’ attitude and very high ethical standards with a strong desire to create positive change, and to see his/her work in finance directly links to and supportive of FOSS’ vision. • Excellent at problem solving, process improvement, statistical analysis, financial planning and strateg
• Extensive experience in budget formulation and planning proces
• High curiosity about new technology, able to implement technology to improve work qualit
