Music is an extremely popular area in the school with lots of students involved in musical programmes and an impressive number with extremely high standards of performance. Healthy numbers take GCSE music with some continuing to study music academically in the Sixth Form. Sixth form academic provision is one area the successful candidate would be reviewing and the ability to offer A-level Music is advantageous. An enthusiasm for and willingness to lead on various co-curricular music activities and ensembles is expected.
