Product Development Engineer (Cooking, Dishwashing, Refrigeration)

The Role
We are building a new Product Design team in Rayong, Thailand and we need you to join us.

We are looking for a talented and driven Product Development Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full cycle of product development, from concept to production, ensuring that each stage of the process is executed to the highest standards. This position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for home appliances.

- Lead the full product development lifecycle, from concept design to production launch.
- Conduct thorough product analysis, including root cause analysis and troubleshooting during the development process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure the product meets all specifications and standards.
- Execute product verification and validation (V&V) processes, ensuring that designs meet safety, performance, and reliability standards.
- Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to ensure precision in design and manufacturing.
- Develop prototypes and test plans to evaluate product performance.
- Conduct Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) and Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA) to identify and mitigate risks.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage documentation and reporting for all phases of product development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering disciplines.
- 3+ years of experience in product development, preferably within the home appliances or manufacturing industries.
- Strong understanding of product development processes and tools, including DFMEA, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, Auto CAD) for design and analysis.
- Experience in product verification, validation, and prototype testing.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
