Summary:
Responsible for delivering Sales related goals as specified in the Business/Sales Plan for the sales territory consisting primarily of Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Laos and Myanmar. Aim to build a pipeline to deliver the company’s solutions to all levels of customers.
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving sales growth and developing strong relationships with key clients within the assigned region. The RSM will be required to develop sales strategies, and ensure the region meets or exceeds its sales targets. This role requires a dynamic leader with strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in sales management.
Work collaboratively with fellow sales consultants, and other business units within the company for all sales related activities. This position is committed to implementing, achieving and exceeding deliverables specified in the business plan.

As our Regional Sales Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by:
  • Responsible and accountable for the sales revenues generated throughout the territory and as a result, contributes to the overall generation of growth and sales revenue throughout the region.
  • Aim to exceed specified sales targets detailed in the Business Plan.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet regional sales targets.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to set sales goals and develop action plans.
  • Prioritizing sales opportunities to maximize deals closed.
  • Contribute to and work collaboratively with a sales team focused on exceeding targets.
  • Develop and maintain timely, accurate and detailed sales information and forecasts in the company sales reporting system (Oracle CRM).
  • Channel management and development with existing distributors for Fargo products and appoint and develop new distributors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the region.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Vertical segmentation of end users and effective plan to be put in place to drive the engagement with end users from Pre-sales to final sales closure.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Identify underperforming areas and implement corrective actions.
  • Strategize on the channel development plan and the vertical business plan to improve the penetration of Fargo business in the assigned region
  • Manage the regional sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Oversee the implementation of promotional campaigns and other sales initiatives within the region.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Your Experience and Education include:
  • College degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or relevant area. An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and business strategy development or related field and
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyse market data and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment.

Language Skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing. Additional languages that popular used in ASEAN is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.

Computer Skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as windows, etc.

  • Position may be home-based or office based depending on location. Aptitude, flexibility, drive and ability are more important for the role than physical location, provided efficient transport and communication links are available

Work Requirements
  • Travel and fieldwork including extensive international travel will be required, therefore employee must possess or can acquire valid travel authorization throughout the region.
