Role Overview:
As a Senior Word Press Web Developer, you will spearhead our web development efforts, collaborating with a talented team of developers and SEO professionals to create high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly websites and digital platforms. You will work closely with account managers alongside clients to understand their needs and provide innovative solutions, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage web development projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding and design.
• Develop custom Word Press themes, plugins, and Gutenberg blocks, optimizing for performance and SEO.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide mentorship and training to junior developers.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop web development and design strategies that align with client objectives.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance development processes, automate tasks, and gain insights from data trends.
• Oversee server and hosting management, including DNS and server configuration.
• Utilize analytics tools (e.g., GTM, GA4) to monitor site performance and implement A/B testing for continuous improvement.
• Stay current with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on Word Press and PHP.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Java Script, and My SQL; experience with React, Next.js, and headless CMS is a plus.
• Experience in an agency environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools, such as GTM and GA4. Understanding of technical effeciency solutions involving Zapier, Webhooks and project management tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• A passion for web development and a commitment to staying updated with industry changes.
