The Opportunity:
In the Commercial Finance Lead, Türkiye role, you will report to the T-MEA Commercial Finance Lead, providing strategic financial guidance and support to Astellas' senior leadership. As an individual contributor, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager and Leadership Team to identify growth opportunities and enhance revenue and profit. This position will involve coordinating with the FP&A Center of Excellence and other finance teams to drive financial performance, resource allocation, and regional alignment with enterprise strategies.

Key Activities:
Financial Planning & Resource Allocation: You will support the development of financial plans within the cluster, ensuring optimal resource allocation in alignment with enterprise strategy and market priorities.
Revenue & Profit Improvement: You will identify and recommend strategies to drive revenue and profit growth, while effectively managing risks and opportunities to meet desired financial performance.
Decision-Making Support: You will provide counsel and challenge decisions to maximize value and ROI, reviewing and approving significant business actions that impact financial outcomes and cash flow.
Compliance & Ethics Leadership: You will foster a culture of compliance and integrity, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and proactively addressing any non-compliance in all initiatives.
Collaboration & High-Performance Culture: You will collaborate with stakeholders, including senior management and finance peers, to build a high-performance culture through effective communication and shared learning.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:
Global Communication Skills: Ability to effectively operate in a global environment, utilizing remote communication and respecting diverse cultural backgrounds.
Interpersonal and Analytical Skills: Exceptional relationship and stakeholder management abilities, coupled with solid financial analysis skills to derive insights from data and influence various management levels.
Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal control standards.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in ERP systems, planning tools, and advanced skills in Excel and Power Point.
Fluent in written and verbal business Turkish & English.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
Pharma Industry Expertise: Extensive experience in planning and budgeting specifically within the pharmaceutical industry.
MBA and/or CPA/CIMA and/or equivalent certificates (or qualified by experience).

Educations/Qualifications:
BS/BA in Finance/Accounting/Economics, or equivalent.

Additional information:
This is a permanent full-time position.
Position is based in Istanbul, Türkiye.
This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and work from our Istanbul office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
