Role Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities & Critical Success Measures
  • Distributor management & account management.
  • Partner with regional teams to recommend relevant commercial, marketing and any other functional initiatives in accordance to regional strategy and localized insights.
  • Own overall short- and long-term business strategy to deliver against business ambition.
  • Overall P&L management: drive route to market initiatives suitable for the Turkish market reality. Continuously evaluate the existing RTM and propose improvements/actions.
  • Lead SGS agenda with the distribution partner in all commercial channels to drive business growth, commercial excellence, and brand building strategy.
  • Recommend short and long-term business plans based on market insights and regional strategies.
  • Lead the annual business planning process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders effectively to deliver global and regional strategic priorities.
  • Build a positive and engaging Suntory Global Spirits work environment.
  • Drive compliance against local regulations and company policies.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years of commercial / business development experience in FMCG/national alcoholic beverage/companies is an advantage
  • 4-5 years’ experience in team management (direct/indirect) & working with regional cross-functional teams, achieving goals on-time with limited resources in dynamic and competitive market.
  • Proven track record for cultivating and growing strong relationships with key external & internal partners across various cultures.
  • Ability to take a hands-on approach toward managing tactical as well as strategic work.
  • Ability to analyze key business drivers and their financial implications on P&L, the balance sheet, and cash flows.
  • Ability to leverage data for decision making (e.g. forecasting to estimate market demand).
  • Proven track record of identifying, developing and growing channels and channel partners.
  • Proven track record of leading tough negotiations (e.g. discussions with key stakeholders in high-risk situations).
  • Ability to deal with ambiguous problems and build cross-functional solutions.
