Essential Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:

• Support low volume test part/ prototype manufacturing activities in his/her technical domain to support NPI and legacy programs.
• Actively participate into planning, execution and risk assessment activities for meeting program goals and timeline.
• Define and control production process including tooling and equipment for specialized processes
• Facilitate and drive process improvements to meet business metrics
• Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment
• Develops new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations
• Works together with shop operators, quality and SPB level manufacturing engineers
• Leads development projects using proven technologies and methods
• Effectively document and communicate results by preparing written reports and delivering oral presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited university
• Min. 5 years of experience in milling process development and implementation with hands-on experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proven self-starter and independent worker who can work with cross-functional teams.
• Good level of written and oral communication skills in English.

• Prior experience with conventional machining CNC programming
• On machine probing knowledge and programming experience
• Tap testing (experimental modal analysis) and chatter vibrations knowledge using Metal MAX, CUTPRO or other software
• Experience in programming and operating Siemens & Heidenhain & Fanuc controls
• Prior kinematic simulation experience with Vericut, NX Siemens or other software
• Coding experience with MATLAB, Python, C++, or other programming languages
• Strong oral and written communication skills
