Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to spearhead our growth initiatives in Turkey. As the strategic leader for the Turkish market, you will be critical in accelerating the new user's growth and awareness boost. Your innovative approaches and leadership will be key to our success in this vibrant market.
Reporting to the Country Marketing Manager Germany, you will partner closely with Global Marketing and Product teams in Pittsburgh, New York, and other Country Marketing Managers around the world to find opportunities and come up with new, creative tactics and campaigns relevant to the Turkish market.
We are looking for a contractor that is located in Turkey and will be leading our marketing investment in Turkey for a fixed period of 6 months with a starting date in Q4 2024. A transition to a permanent position at a later date is not excluded, but cannot be guaranteed.
You Will...

• Lead the strategy to drive fast new user growth in Turkey
• Identify key growth levers, including but not limited to social media, influencers, PR, celebrity, partnerships, etc.
• Internally, you'll work closely with key stakeholders to secure resources, communicate progress, ensure alignment, and share growth results.

You Have...

• Proven track record of driving rapid user growth in the Turkish market.
• Ideally experience in successfully scaling international brands in Turkey
• Deep understanding of local media landscape and cultural nuances.
• Full funnel marketing experience, including social media, influencers, PR, partnerships, etc.
• Result-driven mentality, turning the strategies into actionable plans.

Exceptional Candidates Will Have...

• Passion for our mission to make high-quality language learning accessible to everyone
• Experience successfully scaling international brands in Turkey
• Experience with mobile apps and subscription services
• Proficient in a 3rd language

Requirements:

• 4+ years of consumer marketing full funnel experience
• Experience working as part of a remote team, building strong HQ relationships and influencing effectively local market needs
• Proficient in Turkish with excellent English speaking and writing skills
