As a Medical Interpreter at Dent Spa clinic , you will play a vital role in facilitating effective communication between our dental professionals and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpretation Services: Act as a liaison between doctors and patients by providing real-time oral interpretation during consultations, dental procedures, and follow-up appointments. Ensure accurate and clear communication between parties, conveying medical terms and instructions effectively.
- Patient Support: Assist patients in understanding and navigating the dental treatment process by answering their questions, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns in their preferred language. Offer emotional support and reassurance, as needed, to create a positive patient experience.
- Collaborative Communication: Coordinate with the dental team to ensure consistent and accurate interpretation during discussions, case conferences, and meetings. Facilitate effective communication between team members who may have different language proficiencies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both languages French and Turkish or English, Arabic and Turkish, with a strong focus on accuracy and clarity.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures to effectively translate medical information.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to adapt communication styles to meet the needs of diverse patients.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with patients and dental professionals.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient computer skills for documentation, record keeping, and translation tools.
- Prior experience in translation or interpretation, particularly in a medical or dental setting, is preferred but not required.
- Professional certification or accreditation in translation or interpretation is a plus.
