You will participate in the application of financial and non-financial risk policies, technology and tools, and governance processes to create lasting solutions for minimizing losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, non-compliance to regulations and emerging risks.

Your Key Responsibilities:

You will contribute to risk assessments and drives actions to address the root causes that persistently lead to financial and operational risk losses by challenging both historical and proposed practices.
You will provide governance and oversight over operational risks including technology risk, information security risk and third-party risk management.
You will evaluate the control environment by ensuring appropriate controls are in place.
You will ensure project completion, special assignments and other ad hoc activities as required.
You will follow up changes in legal regulations on Risk management, share and exchange these changes with business units, support and control functions.
Measurement, analysis, reporting of risks defined within the scope of financial and non-financial risk within the framework of policies and limits approved by the board of directors will be one of your responsibilities.
Coordination among business lines with respect to third party risk management, IT risk management and Business Continuity Management will be required.
Risk unit related MIS reports and regulatory reports will be on of your responsibilities.
Involvement in DB Group policies and procedures and operational improvements.

Your Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree level (Graduate degree is preferred).
Fluent in English.
Analythical Thinking.
Familarity with non financial risk areas like third party risk and IT risk .
Familarity with financial risk areas like credit and market risk.
3-5 years of Banking experience in similar areas will be an asset.
CMB licence level 1 would be an asset.
Knowledge of Data Science and familiarity with climate risk applications will be an asset.
