We are looking for a team member to our Securities Services Operations Turkey team within CB & IB Operations. As a Clearing and Settlement/ Payment Officer, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end processing of payments, as well as the handling of payment related investigations and clearing and settlement processes within Custody team to ensure smooth and timely market settlement cash transfers and securities for our clients with close communication with our clients and other counterparties. This includes the processing of time-critical transactions on behalf of the Bank's internal and external clients.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• EFT Cash liquidity management for TRY and other currencies (Processing of swift messages and all client instructions)
• Liquidity management for foreign currency cash positions
• Timely handling of cash expectation matching or cash release for the clients and other stakeholders
• Handling issues in Swift, EFT instructions
• Monitoring the clients, group clients and Bank cash position
• Communication with clients and local banks/financial institutions/broker dealers for settlement and cash related issues.
• Pre-matching and settlement of securities instructions
• Timely preparation of client reports
• Supporting business in client issues, due diligence visits and new business growth

• Follow-up of system projects within the department, participates in User Acceptance Tests when there is a change / improvement in the Core banking application.

• Support all other multiple tasks requested by Branch Operation teams

Your Skills and Experience:

• University Bachelor’s degree is minimum requirement.
• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in local/international banking or in other financial institutions. Preferably in Custody products, Cash Payment Operations or Banking Operations.
• Competent in MS Office programs.
• Strong teamwork and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under stress and strict deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact effectively with internal & external clients.
• Fluent in Turkish & English both verbal and written.
• CMB Certificate requirement- minimum CMB Level 1 (SPL Duzey 1-3 Licence)
• Military status as completed or exempt.
