Position Summary
The Intern, Country Operations Management (ICOM) is a working student that joins the COM team to be trained and learn about the Clinical Research and pharmaceutical industry fields while providing support to the COM team, as needed.

Principal Responsibilities
The Intern, Country Operations Management (ICOM) assists in the coordination and administration of the study activities from the start up to execution and close out, and within the Local Study Team (LST) to ensure quality and consistency of interventional study deliverables to time, cost and quality objectives.
- Assists PMCO, SSU, CSAs and CRAs for coordination and administration of clinical studies from the start-up to execution and close-out.
- Collects, assists in preparation, reviews and tracks documents for the local regulatory application process. Assists in timely submission of proper application/documents to Ethics Committee (EC) and, where appropriate to Ministry of Health (Mo H) for the duration of the study.
- Assists CSAs and CRAs during the document collection process to support effective delivery of a study and its documents.
- Assist CSA and CRAs for maintenance of the e TMF & ISF.
- Contributes to electronic applications/submissions by handling clinical-regulatory documents according to the requested technical standards i.e., Submission Ready Standards (SRS), supporting effective publishing and delivery to regulatory authorities.
- Contributes to the production and maintenance of study documents, ensuring template and version compliance.
- Assist to CSAs for Preparation/support/perform Health Care Organizations (HCO)/Health Care Professionals (HCP) payments in accordance with local regulations and signed contracts.
- Assist CSAs and CRAs to coordination and tracking of study materials and equipments.
- Assist CSA for the management of vendors including PO creation, MSA preparation and tracking of signatures and invoices.
- Additional country-specific tasks might be added depending on local needs.
- Being a 2nd to 4th year undergraduate student or a 1st year post graduate student in an accredited university.
- Able to work minimum 2 days availability per week.
- Competent in MS Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Being able to accommodate in Istanbul during the internship period.
- High degree of analytical thinking skills and the ability to analyze.
- Having excellent communication skills.
