LUXOFT's goal is to empower our customers, with deep domain knowledge and smart solutions, to develop cars of the future. Great mechanical engineering is not the only criteria anymore for delivering the best cars in the world. Using state of the art software technologies are key to provide the requested user experience. For the various software development projects and environments in automotive, we are looking for Embedded Software Developer. Join our international team of enthusiastic, experienced and Agile Software Developers to develop simulation software utilized for testing & validation of Autonomous Driving functions through the overall CI/CD toolchain utilized in the development of entire functional areas of cars and used in future vehicles of a famous German automotive manufacturer worldwide. Help out in the creation of features that will be used daily by millions of drivers once the next generation of vehicles hit the roads in 2025 and laterResponsibilities
You will develop new features in C/C++
You will contribute to the software architecture (UML, Autosar) and clarify requirements in cooperation with the client and the team
You will utilize common design patterns as well as the advantages of object oriented programming
You will perform code analysis, optimize algorithms, refactor and optimize code
You will develop robust and effective code and ensure high quality of the code by performing unit test as well as simulation on real data (software in the loop)
Skills
Must have
Strong C++ background, also in new standards (11, 14, 17), as well as a solid understanding of object oriented programming and design
Strong software debugging skills, understanding of performance optimization
Experience with Git or other version control system
Experience in Linux-based OS
Experience with SW testing frameworks (e.g. Google Test)
You are passionate about R&D and new technologies
Very good understanding of the software development process, preferably in the automotive area
You are hardworking and have team spirit
Strong communication skills in English
Enthusiasm for embedded systems and automotive
ROS
AUTOSAR (AUTomotive Open System ARchitecture)
Jenkins
GUI design or experience with GUI adjustments
Bazel
MISRA
SOLID Principles
ADAS/Autonomous Driving experience
knowledge of AI, Robotics, Machine Learning, Computer Vision or similar
