At Kennametal, a global leader in industrial materials and metalworking solutions, we are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team in Istanbul. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in our financial operations, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, driving financial performance, and supporting strategic initiatives. You will work closely with our Financial Controller, contribute to global reporting, and collaborate with teams across HR, IT, and operations.


What You’ll Do:

• Lead Financial Operations: Oversee all accounting activities, ensuring compliance with Turkish tax legislation and global company policies.
• Month-End and Year-End Closures: Manage monthly and annual closing processes, ensuring accurate reporting and supporting audits.
• Tax Management: Prepare and submit tax declarations (VAT, Withholding, Stamp Duty, corporate income tax, etc.) and manage transfer pricing reports.
• Payroll Execution: Prepare and process payroll, ensuring timely payments and accurate accruals in SAP.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports in line with USGAAP, manage SOX reporting requirements, and support internal and external audits.
• Treasury Management: Reconcile treasury accounts, oversee bank transactions, and ensure accurate cash management.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with global teams, manage outsourced partnerships, and support HR, IT, and legal-related tasks.
• Ad-Hoc Reporting & Analysis: Provide strategic insights through ad-hoc financial reports on investments, payroll, tax, and more.

Who You Are:

• Experienced Professional: With at least 5 years in accounting and financial reporting, preferably in a multinational company.
• SAP proficiency: High proficiency in SAP and strong technical accounting skills are essential.
• Detail-Oriented and Analytical: You have a solid understanding of Turkish Labor Law, Tax Code, and Trade Law, with a keen eye for accuracy in reporting.
• Team Player: Able to collaborate effectively with global and cross-functional teams, building strong working relationships.
• Qualifications: A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, and an accounting certification (SMMM or equivalent) is a plus.
• Communication: Fluent in Turkish and B1 level in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
