Join our dynamic team at Corteva Biologicals as a Sales Representative! You'll manage the entire sales process, build strong customer relationships, and collaborate with the Market Developer team to implement commercial strategies. Your role includes prospecting new clients, ensuring excellent distributor management, and executing marketing plans. Be a key player in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional after-sales support.

Your challenge:
  • Manage Sales Process: Oversee orders, pricing, product margins, delivery planning, and payment monitoring.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and employees based on Corteva Biologicals' values.
  • Client Prospecting: Conduct in-depth analyses to identify and secure new clients in your region.
  • Distributor Management: Ensure excellent management of distributors to meet sales forecasts and budgets.
  • Marketing and Action Plans: Propose, execute, and guarantee marketing and action plans within company quality standards.

Main responsibilities:
Sales Process Management
  • Being responsible for the sales process including the order, the price and product margin, planning delivery within the necessary timeframe and monitoring payment of the order.
  • Carrying out in-depth analyses to prospect for new clients in the region in which they operate.
  • Manage distributor stocks together with the Market Developer to help you meet your sales budget.
Customer and Distributor Relations
  • Be accountable and ensure relationships with customers and employees based on the values defined by Corteva Biologicals.
  • Ensure periodic visits to distributors and end customers in order to understand their needs, update their data and offer solutions after analysis.
  • Carrying out and guaranteeing excellent Distributor Management to ensure the Forecast.
  • Ensuring the flow of information between clients (Distributors) and the company, anticipating problems and actively participating in discussions on alternative solutions with managers and market developer and agronomy team (teamwork).
  • Ensuring collaboration with all the company's departments: meeting requests on time with quality, sharing results and best practices, critical analysis and communication initiative (teamwork).
Strategy and Planning
  • Working closely with the Market Developer team for the implementation of the commercial strategies for the area.
  • Proposing, Executing and guaranteeing Action Plan (Budget and Forecast) in the area within the quality standards established by the company.
  • Proposing, Executing and guaranteeing a Marketing Plan in the area within the quality standards established by the company.
  • Ensuring the timely submission of reports (activities, visits and outlets) and the prior weekly scheduling of activities.
Product and Market Knowledge
  • Knowledge of the positioning of our products, concepts and arguments to overcome objections in the field.
  • To be clear about the potential of the products and the challenges of making progress in sales in the region where they operate.
  • Be responsible for creating the regional plan for product launches, interacting with product coordination.
  • Being responsible for preparing technical materials on products, interacting with the communications area.
  • Being responsible for advising on complaints regarding the application of products.
Training and After-Sales
  • To be a reference in the dissemination of knowledge through training actions for the distribution system, end users and influencers in its region of operation, in line with the Market Developer.
  • Perform and be a reference in after-sales, guaranteeing the efficiency and performance of products in the field.
Consultant Management
  • Prioritize focus consultants according to the metrics defined by the market development area.
  • Establishing a relationship with the priority consultants: prospecting, contacting, hiring, monitoring and evaluating results.
  • Survey the needs of Corteva Biologicals and consultants to contract research protocols focused on generating business.
  • Compile all the work generated by the consultants and deliver the marketing material to the commercial area.
  • Draw up an evolution plan with the regional consultants, involving Sales Representatives and other areas of the company, making it clear what each person's role is in this evolution.
Demand Generation
  • Organizing and Supporting the Communications and Events (Field Day) team with content and technical review of pieces and client interface.
Knowledge and Vision
  • Have a systemic vision of the scenario to identify opportunities and an integrative attitude towards people and processes.
  • Knowledge of the market and the main competitors and their strategies.
  • Being clear about the company's objectives and strategies in the short and medium term.

Qualifications

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need

  • Degree in Agricultural Engineering or similar field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical sales responsibilities with the crops grown in the region in which they work.
  • Knowledge of nutrition, physiology, biological and application technologies.
  • Fluent in Turkish.
  • Fluent in English will be a plus.
  • Effective use of computers and MS Office.
