Program Summary

KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.

Job Summary

Military Housing Clerk plays a vital role in managing military housing data, overseeing check-ins, vacancies, and resident information. They assist clients in determining their housing needs, locating available dorms, houses, properties, and negotiating terms on behalf of the clients. Additionally, Housing Clerks collaborate with government agencies to ensure eligibility requirements are met and provide support in addressing housing and service needs. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with clients and government entities to ensure the smooth operation of military housing services.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with tenant commands to input enterprise Military Housing (e MH) data related to the check-ins and vacates of residents, block and unblock beds, and the general updating of resident information.
  • Create, copy, edit, calculate, revise, retrieve, store and print a wide range of documents in final format form handwritten drafts (e,g., correspondence, report, graphs, calendar, statistics, mailing labels, tables, etc.).
  • Assist the Housing Manager in designing, installing, and maintaining and automated database for statistical and historical information relating to housing occupancy, utilization, and maintenance.
  • Assist clients in determining their housing needs and preferences.
  • Locate available dorms, houses, and properties that meet clients’ requirements.
  • Collaborate with government agencies to ensure eligibility requirements are met.
  • Provide support to clients in addressing housing and service needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident information.
  • Conduct inspections of housing units to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Resolve any issues or concerns related to housing accommodations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and government officials.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
  • Safeguard sensitive information and respect privacy rights.
  • Adhere to dress codes, grooming standards, and conduct regulations.
  • Respect the hierarchical structure and ensure the safety and security of personnel, equipment, and facilities.
  • Proficiency in using office software applications, property management systems, and databases.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, follow procedures, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Capability to address client needs, resolve issues, and make decisions effectively.
  • Ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals, including clients, colleagues, and government officials
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are important for interacting with clients, colleagues, and government agencies.

Basic Qualifications
  • Turkish Citizen
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English level 3
  • A college/university diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver license (minimum “B” class).
  • Military obligation must be completed.
  • Customer Service or Administrative Roles Experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with housing policies, procedures, and regulations related to military housing
  • Previous experience in property management, housing services
