Program Summary

KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Türkiye. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.

Job Summary

KBR is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team in Türkiye. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and a safe environment at KBR facilities. This role is essential to ensure that our premises meet the highest standards of hygiene and orderliness.
Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Maintain restrooms by cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
• Remove trash and recycle materials, ensuring proper disposal in designated areas.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning tools.
• Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs (e.g., broken fixtures, leaks).
• Replenish janitorial supplies and maintain inventory.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
• Perform other cleaning duties as assigned to maintain facility standards.
• Capability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 20 kilos with tasks involving stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, and sitting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Basic Qualifications

• Turkish Citizen Required.
• All male candidates must have completed military service.
• A high school diploma.
• Two (2) years of experience in sanitation.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand English Level 1.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Comprehension of the English language. Level 2 or higher.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in janitorial service for industrial/residential properties.
• First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Fire Safety Training.
• Higher education in a related field is a plus.

All positions require the applicant to obtain and pass a medical physical that is certified by a doctor.
All positions require a current and favorable Turkish Security background check.
All male candidates must have completed their military service.
