Cybersecurity Specialist

About the Role:

Culmen International is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to work in Kyiv, Ukraine.

The United Nations (UN) International Organization for Migration (IOM) has a need for the development of software dedicated to the deduplication and verification of data within the Unified Information and Analytical System for Migration Processes (UIAS MMP) Management of the State Migration Service of Ukraine (SMS) to address the critical need for accurate and streamlined migration data. By developing advanced software for deduplication and verification, the IOM aims to enhance the quality and reliability of the migration data managed by the SMS, ensuring that it is both accurate and up-to-date.

What You’ll Do in Your New Role:Implement and enforce security measures across all software and data access points, focusing on data integrity for sensitive migration and identity data. Conduct vulnerability assessments, ensure compliance with data protection standards (e.g., NIST, GDPR), and monitor security controls. Collaborate with developers to integrate security protocols into the software architecture.
Required Qualifications:

8+ years in cybersecurity with a focus on database security, experience in securing Neurotech systems or similar biometric and deduplication solutions
Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Comp TIA Cy SA+, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). Proficient in GRC, IAM, and cybersecurity frameworks
