Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial experience as SRE engineer
- Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including provisioning, managing, and optimizing cloud resources for reliability and scalability.
- Proficiency in Terraform (or other Ia C tools) for automating cloud infrastructure management and deployment.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (K8S) and Helm for deploying and managing containerized applications at scale.
- Experience with APM tools such as New Relic or similar for application monitoring, alerting, and performance troubleshooting.
- Expertise in managing and optimizing relational databases like My SQL, Postgre SQL.
- Hands-on experience improving CI/CD pipeline reliability and efficiency, ensuring smooth automated deployments.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash for automation, system management, and troubleshooting.
- Deep understanding of web server configuration and optimization including nginx or similar for handling high traffic and ensuring reliability.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues, including root cause analysis and incident response.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on GCP using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration management.
- Set up and maintain robust monitoring, alerting, and performance analysis systems ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot performance and availability relational database issues ensuring data integrity and high availability.
- Configure and optimize web servers for high availability and scalability, ensuring quick response times and minimal downtime.
- Automate routine operational tasks and infrastructure management
- Troubleshoot critical system issues across web servers and cloud infrastructure, and ensure timely resolution.
