Role Overview:We are seeking a driven and creative Product Marketing Manager to lead the marketing efforts for Luminar Mobile. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive product growth, user engagement, and market penetration. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mobile apps, digital marketing, and building a strong product presence in a competitive market.


Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in a Saa S, mobile, or creative tools environment.
• Strong understanding of mobile app marketing and growth strategies, including user acquisition, ASO, and influencer marketing.
• Experience with go-to-market planning and executing successful product launches.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally with design, product, engineering, and marketing teams.
• Proficiency in A/B testing and data-driven marketing optimization.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A passion for photography, creative tools, or video editing is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy:
  • Lead the go-to-market strategy for Luminar Mobile (Apple ecosystem scale and expansion to other platforms).
  • Define the product messaging and unique value propositions, emphasizing the distinct features of Luminar Mobile.
  • Collaborate with the product team to align on customer needs, product features, and the roadmap for future updates.
• Marketing Campaigns:
  • Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (email, PPC, social, affiliate, influncer etc.) to drive awareness and user adoption.
  • Manage the creation of compelling content and assets (e.g., ad creatives, videos, blogs, landing pages) to support campaign efforts and product launches.
  • Utilize data and insights to segment audiences and continuously optimize campaigns for better engagement and user acquisition.
• Influencer and Content Partnerships:
  • Identify and build relationships with key influencers, content creators, and brand ambassadors in the photography and creative communities.
  • Collaborate with influencers to create authentic, engaging content that promotes Luminar Mobile to their followers.
  • Develop partnerships with creative professionals to expand Luminar’s visibility and credibility in the mobile editing space.
• App Store Optimization (ASO) & A/B Testing:
  • Manage ASO strategies, ensuring Luminar Mobile ranks highly in app store searches and is optimized for discoverability.
  • Conduct A/B testing on paywalls, onboarding flows, and app store screenshots to improve conversion rates, user retention, and product adoption.
  • Collaborate with design and product teams to ensure the visual and messaging aspects of the app store presence align with overall branding.
• User Insights & Competitive Analysis:
  • Perform market research to understand user needs, market trends, and competitive positioning for mobile editing apps.
  • Monitor key metrics and user feedback to refine marketing strategies and provide input for product development.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with product, design, partnerships, and paid advertisement teams to align on goals, KPIs, and growth strategies.
  • Coordinate with the Luminar Neo desktop app team to maintain consistent branding and messaging across product touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with other Product Marketing Managers on other Skylum’s products cross-sales
