We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Tester with a background in Course Merchant and Python to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test scripts to ensure software quality and compliance with user requirements. As an Automation Tester, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our software testing processes and contributing to the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases and test scripts based on requirements and user stories
• Utilize software testing concepts, methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure thorough testing
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing to validate software performance
• Employ API testing tools such as Postman for advanced testing scenarios
• Manage and execute regression testing activities to identify software issues
• Collaborate with development and product teams to discuss testing results and troubleshoot issues
• Continuously update and maintain testing documentation for reference and reporting purposes
• Optimize testing processes and procedures to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness
• Participate in agile meetings and provide input on test planning and risk assessment
• Stay current with industry trends and testing best practices to recommend improvements to testing strategies

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automation testing or a similar role
• Proven background in automating test cases using Python, with some experience using Java Script
• Expertise in creating detailed test cases and test scripts
• Proficiency in functional and non-functional testing methods
• Competency in API testing tools, specifically Postman
• Extensive experience managing and running regression testing
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, technical standards, and the SDLC
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
