About the role:
As a Senior Back End (Java) Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
The client is a venture-backed enterprise security company focused on helping organizations better protect and manage personal data privacy: customers, employees, or clients. The company is geographically distributed, developing in Israel and US and European operations.
The company provides enterprise software for managing and protecting customer and employee data in the data center or cloud. Our PII protection and privacy technology combines machine learning and identity intelligence to help organizations secure personal data and meet new privacy regulations like GDPR.
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer for our development team, who will share our culture of thorough testing before delivering a feature and the feeling of ownership. The candidate should have extensive knowledge of Java and Node.js (nice to have). If you only know Java, you should be willing to learn Node.js.
Responsibilities

• Design logic solutions to complex challenges for our customers, who are among the most successful enterprises in the world
• Write high-quality code, covered by solid unit and integration tests
• Drive technological and architectural decisions
• Review other team members’ designs and code

Requirements

• 5 years of hands-on experience in backend development: Java (with a willingness to develop using Node.js)
• At least 2 years of development experience with Saa S projects
• Deep understanding of API protocols (REST, JDBC, etc.)
• A solid knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols, such as OAuth, SAML, and JWT
• Knowledge in cloud technologies: AWS (is preferable), or GCP, or Azure
• Experience in Agile development
• English – Upper-Intermediate

Desirable

• Full stack capabilities
• Experience with Mongo DB
• Experience with Kubernetes
