Project description

We are working on a platform, which receives data about securities and prices from various data providers, enrich and validate it, and finally distribute the consolidated data to internal bank systems. Our team is responsible for different web applications, desktop applications, web services and Linux environments that allow to visualize securities and to execute workflows on them.

We are distributed team of 9 people (6 java full-stacks, 2 .Net full-stacks and 1 QA) located in USA and Ukraine. We work in tight cooperation with other teams and clients all over the world.

Our components are created in Java 8-11, C# and .Net, Java Script/Type Script with Angular, Oracle, Spring 4-5 (as well as Spring Boot).

Responsibilities

Write clean, maintainable code, perform peer code-reviews

Be responsible for architectural design, writing code, testing, deployment, and support of the application

Partner with the team on finding new ways to solve technical and business problems

Work with stakeholders to add definition to project requirements

Production support activities

Skills

Must have

Strong Java: Core, JDBC, multithreading, Collections, I/O

Strong database development: SQL, transactions, isolation level, query optimization

Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms (e.g. big O notation, red-black tree, hash table, sorting algorithms)

Good spring-core, spring-beans, spring-jdbc

Linux shell experience

Good communication skills

Nice to have

Javascript / JQuery / Angular JS

Mongo DB experience

Groovy

Oracle PL/SQL
