Full-time Remote allowed

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join the team of our client from DACH region – one of the leading system specialists for the planning, construction, and operation of control centers and call centers for emergency medical services, fire brigades, police forces, as well as for industry and transportation. The Company is using next-generation control center software suite.

Responsibilities:
Actively participate in the development of our modern, web-based control center software
Design and develop innovative product ideas
Develop quality software (including effective test code) according to the clean code principles
Ensure high performance of applications and provide support
Proactively contribute to team meetings (Story refinement, Planning, Retros)

Requirements:
Experience with Java (version 11 or higher)
Knowledge of Spring Boot 2.x
Ability to work in a monolithic application with the clearly defined models
Knowledge of JPA, Hibernate, and Spring Data
Good knowledge of RDBMS (e.g., Maria DB, Oracle)
Experience with Elasticsearch and Redis
Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes and Docker for deployment; JUnit, Assert J, and Mockito for testing; and Rabbit MQ
Passion for writing clean code and using the established patterns
Experience working in team environments
Good communication skills
English level – Upper-Intermediate or higher (written and spoken)
EU citizenship
Ability to attend on-site workshops in Austria

Will be a plus:
Experience with implemented modular structure
Experience with Development-Lead or/and knowledge-sharing skills to coach and guide other team members
