Full-time Remote allowed

We’re opening the position of a Middle Software Engineer to work with our Client on real estate solution for the US market. The solution is on production and is used by end customers. It consists of two parts: the tool that can be configured to discover and crawl real estate websites automatically and a web-based application (Portal) to process and sell data loaded by this tool. The Portal’s infrastructure includes the ML part. The new member of the team will work on new features implementation and new prediction models.

Responsibilities:
Work on Java back-end implementation
Develop new features and fix issues with the existing ones
Collaborate with other Developers in an Agile environment
Provide support of the existing predictive models for sale probability estimation
Conduct ad-hoc data analysis using pandas with Python (preferably)
Perform conceptual hypothesis testing, hypothesis verification, and correlation analysis as for relationships in data sources
Work on probabilistic binary classification modeling and making proposals as for the new variables

Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Java
Working experience with Machine Learning techniques such as methods based on the decision trees for binary classification
Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap 3/4/5
Basic data manipulation skills using at least one of the following technologies: SQL (querying with any RDBMS) or dplyr (with R) or pandas (with Python)
Basic understanding of Applied Statistics and Probability Theory
Outstanding soft skills
English level – Intermediate or higher

Will be a plus:
Knowledge of MDBootstrap
