We are seeking a Senior Java Test Automation Engineer to lead our automation efforts.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks using cutting-edge technologies. You will collaborate closely with our software development team to ensure the reliability and performance of our software solutions.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated automated test cases using Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and develop robust test strategies
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to execute automated tests as part of the software delivery lifecycle
• Identify, document, and track software bugs and inconsistencies
• Conduct in-depth root cause analysis on test failures and lead collaboration with the development team to implement solutions
• Drive the creation and maintenance of testing standards, procedures, and guidelines
• Explore, evaluate, and implement modern technologies to maximize testing efficiency and effectiveness

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 3+ years Software Engineering experience in the field of Test Automation
• Advanced level of Test Automation in Java software development language and related platforms (Core + Java 8, 11, 17 features)
• Extensive experience in at least one of the test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Selenide, Cucumber, Appium, Rest Assured, Test NG
• UI and API layer automated testing production experience
• Deep understanding of CI/CD technologies like Jenkins, Bamboo, or Git Lab CI
• Profound knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Expertise with source control management systems and configuration management
• Exceptional debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Extensive experience in Agile/Scrum development process
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Expert level in estimations and risk management
• B2 or higher English level, both spoken and written

NICE TO HAVE

• Spring Boot knowledge and production experience
• Java Script automation experience
• Experience in at least one of domains like E-commerce, Health Care, Banking, Automotive
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Certifications like AWS, GCP or Azure are preferred
• Experience with performance and/or security testing
• Proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is beneficial
• Experience mentoring or leading teams
• Understanding of AI and experience with prompting and usage of AI tools
