They are embarking on an exciting transformation project to enhance their infrastructure by migrating to custom AWS native components. This initiative aims to leverage the full potential of AWS services to optimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency across their media supply chain operations.

As a Senior Node. js Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in this transition, working on cutting-edge technologies and collaborating with a talented team to redefine the media supply chain landscape.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build User Management API
• Manage users, roles, and permissions
• Integrate Cognito with Okta for JWT tokens
• Replace Okta tokens with Cognito tokens for API users
• Build Asset Management API
• Manage assets in MAM with CRUD operations and access policies
• Develop a complex metadata system for Users, Assets, and Collections, supporting schema validation, hierarchy, and access policies
• Implement import/ingestion for media assets (video files), storing in S3, generating metadata, transcoding, and orchestrating workflows with Step Functions
• Build Message Bus
• Use Event Bridge, SQS, and SNS to emit changes and create priority queuing for bulk uploads
• Develop in-depth monitoring and alerting using Cloud Trail and Cloud Watch

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of proven experience as a Node.js Engineer with a strong portfolio of successful projects
• AWS Lambda Proficiency: Experience in or capability to learn and build services using AWS Lambda
• Core AWS Services: Ability to work with key AWS services, including API Gateway, Cognito, IAM, S3, and Cloud Watch
• Scalability and Performance: Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance applications
• Upper-intermediate or higher English level, both spoken and written (B2+)

NICE TO HAVE

• Advanced AWS Services: Familiarity with AWS Aurora, Open Search, Event Bridge, SNS, SQS, Cloud Trail, Datadog, Athena, and Kinesis Services
• Industry Experience: Previous experience in the media or entertainment industry, particularly in building metadata systems or similar applications
