Project description
Project for US-based hedge fund. The firm invests in multiple asset classes and strategies, namely long/short equity, systematic, global macro, and venture capital.Responsibilities
Help enhance and automate the firm's Trade Cost Analysis reporting framework
Help automate processes for data cleaning and processing
Optimize SQL queries for data collection
Contribute to a robust, scalable research infrastructure include AWS cloud support
Ensure the live production system is up and ready before the US open
Contribute to the firm's open-source CSP platform
Skills
Must have
Minimum of 3 years working for a financial services firm
Undergraduate or higher degree in computer science, mathematics, or other quantitative discipline
Strong programming experience in .Net with production level coding experience
Strong SQL experience
Experience working in a Unix environment
Familiarity with Git Hub version control and software delivery lifecycle
Willing to take ownership of one's own work and to work both independently and as part of a team
Commitment to the highest ethical standards
