ABOUT THE JOB

Gunzilla Games is looking to recruit a - to join us to work on our game OTG (Off The Grid), an all-new AAA Battle Royale 2.0 third-person shooter, available as Early Access on Play Station®5, Xbox® Series X|S and PC now.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Senior UI Technical Designer, you will:

• Proficient in implementing UI with Unreal Motion Graphics (UMG)
• Implement UI elements and screens from scratch or iterate on existing widgets
• Collaborate with Engineers to build the full functionality of UI elements in scripts
• Collaborate with UX Designers and work based on their UX prototypes in Figma
• Collaborate with UI Artists to apply their concepts as assets to the UI elements
• Integrate Animations and effects with UMG and Materials
• Help to ensure that UI elements are performant, clean and well structured

REQUIREMENTS

• Experienced with Unreal Engine 5 and Blueprint scripting
• Proven experience with networking, preferably in UI but in general is also ok
• Interest in collaborating within a team of diverse perspectives to derive great solutions
• Passionate about problem identification and solving
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable driving work and balancing quality with efficiency
• A passion for games.

PLUSES

• Background working with UI or UX (university course, previous role as graphic designer or UX designer)
• Experience in creating Materials.
