Staff Software Engineer

Infineon, a world-renowned company, is seeking a talented Staff Software Engineer to join our team in Lviv, Ukraine.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Be responsible for the firmware development for MCU system and peripherals;
Participate in defining the new feature requirements ;
Participate in architecture and design development ;
Develop and verify firmware for embedded systems;
( C language );
Perform tasks including debug and bring-up of firmware ;
Successfully collaborate with both software and hardware product teams;
Set up continuous integration systems to run tests (Git Lab CI/CD);
Contribute to the innovative advancement of the company’s MCU solutions.

You are best equipped for this position if you have:

Electronic Engineering or Computer Science degree, or any relevant degree;
Experience in architecture and design development for embedded software ;
At least 3 years of experience in embedded software ;
Experience in coding in C and Python scripting;
Knowledge of ARM-based So C architecture ;
Experience with bare metal embedded systems ;
Experience in Real-Time Operating Systems and basic skills in cryptography or data protection would be a plus;
Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills in embedded systems.
Fluent in English .
