Accommodations Manager

Job Summary: The Accommodation Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance within the lodging facility. The role involves ensuring a high standard of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency. The Accommodation Manager works closely with various departments to ensure that all guests receive outstanding service, and that the facility is maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Housekeeping:
- Supervise the housekeeping team to ensure all rooms and common areas are clean, well-maintained, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Establish and enforce cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure they meet the facility’s standards.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
- Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repairs.
- Respond promptly to any maintenance issues reported by the employees.
- Manage the accommodation department’s budget, including labor, supplies, and equipment.
- Monitor and control expenses to stay within budgetary constraints.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available and properly stored.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions for staff.
- Implement and enforce policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Prepare and present regular reports on occupancy rates, and revenue.
- Collaborate with the Operational Manager to develop strategies for improving operational efficiency.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of housekeeping standards, maintenance procedures, and service protocols.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office.
- At least 3 years of Accommodation Manager experience.
- This position may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the facility’s needs.
- The role may involve standing for extended periods and some physical tasks, such as inspecting rooms or moving supplies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
