The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Cost Estimator Engineer Assistant to join our team in the solar sector. As a Cost Estimator Engineer Assistant, You should be a curious and outgoing individual, who use your passion as the daily fuel to make a difference. You should be eager to provide high-quality deliverables and on top of that, you are a dedicated team player with. Key Responsibilities - Acquire understanding of the customer requirements of the project or program at hand. - Responsible for the Project’s Deliverables such as: Reports, Cost Estimates, Layouts. Etc. - Professional with in-depth experience in doing detailed BOQ based costing and estimation exercises for small and large-scale ground mounted and/or rooftop solar power plants with varying design basis/ criteria. - Select metrics to produce valid estimates - Review documents or consult experts to collect all necessary data - Analyze data and produce forecasts - Perform Risk analysis - Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for a project - Prepare cost, time- and resource estimates to inform the wider project planning - Prepare reports detailing all the costs going into a project - Act as a connection between sub-contractors, procurement & design team (architects, engineers, consultants and client) - Prepare detailed reports or bids for submission to appropriate parties - Input cost data into Company database - Notice differences between estimated cost and actual cost - Establish and foster relationships to key vendors - Demonstrate high safety focus and awareness. - Preparation of Bill of quantity (BOQs) for Prebid estimations. - Preparing cost benefit analysis for various project/ design options & supporting Project/ BD and Sales team to expedite techno-commercial proposals and closures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and automation or Related majors. - Proven track record of at least 5 to 8 years solar sector or a relevant industry. - Experience in the Gulf and Middle East not less than 5 years. - Strong understanding of solar energy technologies, EPC processes, and the renewable energy. - Age: 25-35. - Cost works with PV and transform substation or Related. - Rich experience in international company. - Proficiency in using CRM tools, sales software, and Microsoft Office suite. - Excellent verbal / written communication in English, Candidate who have the ability of French or Chinese in writing and speaking will be an advantage. - Big Experience in tender works. - Team player, Self-driven, positive attitude.
