Job Title: DOH Licensed Male Family Medicine Specialist
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Position Overview:
We are seeking a DOH Licensed Male Family Medicine Specialist to join our healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. As a licensed practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to individuals and families across all ages, focusing on disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, contributing to the well-being of the community while adhering to the Department of Health (DOH) regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Primary Healthcare Delivery:
Offer high-quality primary care services to patients, including health-risk assessments, routine physicals, vaccinations, and wellness check-ups.
Diagnosis and Management:

Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, respiratory infections, and cardiovascular issues, ensuring that treatment is evidence-based and patient-centered.

Patient and Family Care:

Manage the healthcare needs of families, including children, adults, and elderly patients, ensuring continuity of care and addressing the health of individuals in the context of their families. Implement preventive measures by promoting regular screenings, immunizations, and healthy lifestyle changes tailored to patient needs. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive healthcare measures, empowering them to make informed decisions. Coordinate with specialists and other healthcare providers when further investigation or treatment is needed, ensuring a smooth referral process and follow-up. Provide timely care in emergency situations, including initial diagnosis and stabilization, with referral to emergency services as required. Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, maintain up-to-date medical records, and adhere to all clinical guidelines and standards of care. Work effectively with nurses, other physicians, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for patients.

Medical Degree: MBBS or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Specialization: Postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine (e.g., MRCGP, FCPS, Arab Board, or equivalent).
DOH License: Valid license to practice as a Specialist Family Medicine Physician issued by the Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in family medicine or general practice.
Skills:
Strong diagnostic and clinical management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Patient-focused, compassionate care.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred:

Previous experience working within the UAE healthcare system.
Multilingual abilities (Arabic and English proficiency preferred).
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
