Al Amal Medical Centre is a well-established healthcare facility located in the heart of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. We are committed to providing high-quality medical care to our patients, and we are seeking a dedicated and experienced MOH-registered GP to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, and emergency departments. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and compassionate individual with excellent clinical skills and a strong commitment to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including taking vital signs, medical history, and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the medical team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the medical team.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, medications, and self-care practices.
- Clinical Skills:
- Perform a wide range of nursing procedures, including wound care, IV therapy, and injections.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures and surgeries as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Teamwork:
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Compliance:
- Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and policies, including infection control and safety standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a recognized university.
- Licensure: Valid MOH (Ministry of Health) registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of EMR systems and medical terminology.
