Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary individual to join our New Businesses, Incubation, and Acceleration team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying emerging opportunities, leading the incubation of new ideas, and accelerating the growth of early-stage ventures within the company. This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, entrepreneurial mindset, and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities:
Opportunity Identification:
Research and analyze market trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and prioritize ideas that align with the companys strategic goals.

Incubation Leadership:
Lead the development of new business concepts from ideation to prototyping, ensuring alignment with market needs and business objectives.

Oversee the creation of business models, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies for incubated projects.

Manage pilot programs and proof-of-concept initiatives to validate ideas before scaling.

Financial Modeling:
Develop detailed financial models to forecast the potential performance of new ventures, including revenue projections, cost analysis, and cash flow management.

Assess the financial viability of projects by analyzing key financial metrics, such as ROI, NPV, and IRR.

Continuously update and refine financial models based on evolving business conditions and market feedback.

Business Case Development:
Prepare comprehensive business cases that justify the investment and strategic fit of new ventures within the company.

Articulate the potential risks, rewards, and timelines associated with new projects, presenting them clearly to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Ensure that business cases are supported by robust data and analysis, including market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights.

Acceleration & Growth:
Develop and execute acceleration plans to drive the growth of early-stage ventures within the company.

Provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and resources to project teams to help them navigate challenges and achieve milestones.

Establish partnerships with external stakeholders, including investors, customers, and technology providers, to support venture growth.

Stakeholder Management:
Present progress and business cases to senior leadership, advocating for resources and support where needed.

Foster a culture of innovation within the team and across the organization, encouraging creative problem-solving and calculated risk-taking.

Performance Metrics:
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for incubated and accelerated projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Continuously assess and refine processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the incubation and acceleration pipeline.

Qualifications:
Masters degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
2-3 years of management consulting experience. Additional 1 year of start up experience or new venture development will be a big plus.
Strong understanding of financial modeling, business case development, market research, business modeling, GTM strategy etc.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and a willingness to take calculated risks.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably within a venture capital firm or a startup or corporate innovation team.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
