Khadamat Facilities Management LLC is a joint venture (JV) company formed to operate and provide Integrated Facilities Management Services to the new United Arab Emirates University in Al Ain.

Your Opportunity
Khadamat are looking for a Carpenter who will be part of the reactive maintenance team and will provide first line response to defects and emergencies. He will also provide support to the Location Based Handymen to maintain the FF&E in good condition.

The ideal candidate should be flexible and seeks to be adaptable in the face of changing circumstances with good communication skills.

This role is part of the Khadamat team and will be based in Al Ain, UAE.

Key Accountabilities Provide first line response to woodworking related defects and deficiencies Carry out repairs to defective doors, windows, glazing and locking systems Provide service to gain emergency access to locked rooms Inspection and recording of estate condition Assist with minor churn and moves and changes as required Carry out repairs to FF&E as required Carry out minor fabrication works as required

Specific Requirements Technical certificate in Woodworking or equivalent Extensive knowledge of building construction an d maintenance techniques Ability to fabricate items in timber as required Fully conversant with all aspects of building construction and maintenance with focus on timber construction. Ability to work on own initiative Good communicator in English Ability to work without direct supervision
