Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Director with a strong background in civil engineering and rail infrastructure projects to lead and deliver large-scale developments in Dubai. The successful candidate will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring the timely and cost-effective completion of high-profile rail projects, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale civil and rail infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives.
• Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, government authorities, and internal teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
• Budget and Cost Control: Oversee project budgets, monitor costs, and ensure financial control measures are in place to achieve profitability targets.
• Timeline Management: Develop and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are met.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to the project’s success, implementing contingency plans where necessary.
• Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Promote and enforce HSE standards, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead multi-disciplinary teams, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to ensure optimal team performance.
• Compliance: Ensure all project activities are in line with local laws, regulations, and company standards.

Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, RICS) would be an advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years' experience in civil and rail infrastructure projects, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or project director role.
• Regional Experience: Demonstrated experience managing large-scale projects in the Middle East, particularly in Dubai or the UAE.
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of rail systems, civil engineering principles, construction methods, and infrastructure project delivery.
• Financial Acumen: Strong grasp of project financing, budgeting, and cost management.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead large teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and negotiate with senior stakeholders.
