• Ability to communicate with staff, stakeholders and customers in Oral and written English
  
• Ability to Prepare and submit FIR Reports, Impairment reports and Coordination Notification to Stakeholders.
  
• Ability to construct technical reports, weekly monthly trackers,and spreadsheets and presentations using MS Office (Word / Excel / Power point)
  
• Ability to review Job plans, identify the requirements of NFPA/UAEFC and incorporate the necessary revisions and monitor and ensure on the Fire Fighting Systems, equipment and pipework systems.
  
• Ability to identify and initiate system improvement reliability and operational concerns related to Fire Fighting systems.
  
• Knowledge and Expertise on Electrical, ELV, Controller, Control Panel and Detection systems.
  
• Can read interpret and describe the functionality of drawings (circuit and wiring diagrams/schematic and layout drawings) irrespective of systems
  
• Knowledge in the use & interpretation of NFPA, UAEFC, DCD codes, Standards and Regulations.

Requirements

• Graduate Engineer with bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (4 years) (Post High school)
  
• DCD approval Certificate
  
• Minimum Eight (8) years’ experience within a Specialist Fire Fighting Systems Company. (In Large Malls, Hospitals, Power plants, Airports, Hospitals, Oil refineries related facilities etc.)
  
• Certified in NFPA (Minimum of NFPA25 or CFPS).
