About the role
Mott Mac Donald is looking for a Project Manager for our Built Environment sector. This role works across various projects in the UAE, offering an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual.

Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:
  • Manage the full life-cycle of projects and ensuring projects are successfully completed from beginning to end including project kick-off, designing, execution and completion, all whilst ensuring compliance with Mott Mac Donald’s internal controls policies
  • Responsbile for leading Mott Mac Donald's delivery of the assigned projects, including the day to day Client communication
  • Responsbile for establishing the project scope, schedule, and resource budgets and measuring progress throughout the project
  • Responsbile for the commercial success, financial controls, and risk management of the assigned projects
  • Manage the collection of data relating to the progress of critical work including any problems and delays that may affect the work
  • Report on the progress of delivery against pre-identified milestones
  • Prepare monthly reports in delivery for the client and deliver presentations on progress
  • Managing the full life-cycle of bids and ensuring the bid is successfully completed
  • Mentor and develop staff, providing leadership and positive working environment
  • Monitor and review compliance with the requirements of the Group’s management system and report findings
  • Identifying, building and maintaining key relationships both internally within Mott Mac Donald and externally with key clients

Candidate specifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university; a Masters’ Degree in Project and/ or Programme Management would be a distinct advantage
  • Member of an internationally recognised professional engineering body
  • Must demonstrate experience in respect of the technical proposals, evaluation and constructability, technology deployment and solving technical problems that may arise during construction
  • A strong practical approach to project management with the ability to work in a collaborative and cooperative manner with both the Client and Contractor to ensure that the works are constructed in an efficient and safe manner
