Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development and integration of AI-driven real-time interactive live streaming SDK/API platform such as Agora, 100ms, Twilio, Zoom, Jitsi etc. This role will involve managing the complete project lifecycle, from conception through implementation and delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, as well as technical knowledge of streaming technologies and API integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Project Leadership: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects focused on the development and integration of real-time interactive streaming SDKs and APIs.
· Technical Collaboration: Work closely with software development teams to define project scope, requirements, and specifications for platforms like Agora, 100ms, Twilio, Zoom, Jitsi and others.
· Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates, risks, and progress, ensuring effective communication between stakeholders and technical teams.
· Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential project risks and issues, developing and implementing strategies to mitigate them throughout the project lifecycle.
· Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet high standards of quality, performance, and functionality, particularly in real-time interactive environments.
· Budget and Resource Management: Monitor project budgets and allocate resources effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints.
· Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve project management methodologies, tools, and workflows to enhance project efficiency and success rates.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
· At least 5+ years of project management experience in technology-driven environments, with a focus on live streaming or interactive communication applications.
· Proven experience with SDK/API platforms such as Agora, 100ms, Twilio, Zoom, Jitsi, or similar technologies.
· Proficiency in project management tools like JIRA, Asana, Trello, or equivalent.
· Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic approach to decision-making based on data and insights.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration among diverse teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Familiarity with AI technologies and their applications in real-time streaming and communication.
· Knowledge of streaming protocols such as RTMP, RTSP, HLS, Web RTC and their application in live streaming development.
· Knowledge of suitable languages like C++/C, Java/Kotlin, Swift/Objective-C, Java Script/Type Script.
· Exposure to server side components for media processing and routing, using frameworks like Node.js, Django, or Spring Boot.
· Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and familiarity with Dev Ops practices.
· PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
· Previous experience in developing applications with voice/video calling, live streaming, broadcast streaming, real-time chat, and interactive functionalities.
