Are you a technical expert in data analytics with a passion for financial crime prevention?
I am seeking a Senior Manager, AML Systems for a leading bank in the United Arab Emirates. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong Data Analysis skills (SQL, Excel, Access) to optimise and enhance the transaction monitoring systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Utilise your technical data analysis skills to set and fine-tune thresholds & parameters within their transaction monitoring systems.
Run SQL queries and apply them effectively to the system to detect and prevent financial crimes.
Translate theoretical knowledge into statistical analysis and modelling to drive system improvements.
Focus on system recalibration and optimisation, rather than system implementation.

Key Requirements:

Proficiency in SQL and Excel for in-depth data analysis.
Strong statistical / data analysis skills.
Ability to apply data insights to set effective thresholds and parameters within FCC systems.

Ideal Candidate:

Strong background in technical transaction monitoring and data analytics within the banking sector.
Consulting experience with recalibrating transaction monitoring systems.
Proficient in SQL, Excel, and Access with the ability to turn data insights into actionable system enhancements.
