Job Purpose

Pay: AED16,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month

Responsibilities
- Lead and IT technicians, providing training and guidance to develop their technical skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution, from planning through to completion, while adhering to budget and time constraints.
- Handling external parties and companies, build, repair and maintain IT equipment and across the school including servers, PCs, printers, laptops, and other peripherals.
- Coordinate Work with external companies, to ensure the telephone systems are maintained and configured according to the needs of the school;
- Managing internet security is maintained to minimize risks for each child and keep them safe.
- Manage and Maintain database of all IT licenses and ensure they are maintained and up to date.
- Take full ownership of IT support requests, ensuring accurate and timely updates are provided to staff and your manager; prioritize those requests that could provide triggers for student behavior if unresolved.
- Coordinate to Prepare IT hardware and software configurations in readiness for external accredited exams as required.
- Visit classrooms as on a regular basis to fix, upgrade and carry out site surveys of equipment and carry our on-call duties if required;
- Support with presentations equipment, conferences and training as required;
- Test and check IT equipment to ensure they are providing a valuable service;
- The jobholder should hold a relevant IT qualification.
- Ideally a Microsoft Certified Professional
- Minimum two years’ experience of working in the United Arab Emirates or GCC
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in an IT technician environment and be experienced in troubleshooting issues with PC hardware and peripherals.
- Extremely proficient in all types of hardware platforms.
- The role holder should also possess excellent keyboard and PC skills with a intermediate level of proficiency for the standard range of office applications such as word and excel.
- Fluent in English and a knowledge of Arabic an advantage.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Emotional resilience.
- Ability to work as a member of a team and on their own initiative.
- Ability to work to tight timescales.
Pay: AED16,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
